On the occasion of the Carless day, on September 22nd 2010, representatives of the Centre for Ecology and Energy Tuzla, as national coordinating organization of BELLS Movement, together with the President of the Green parliamentary group, Mr. Lazar Prodanovic, held a meeting with Mr. Zoran Stevanovic, Mayor of the Municipality of Zvornik.
After presentation of the national coordinator of BELLS Movement in B&H Sabina Jukan about the BELLS Movement which is the result of regional REA project and is committed to introduce European environmental standards, and to put environmental issues next to the economic and social issues in decision-making, the ceremony of signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Zvornik and BELLS Movement in B&H was held. This event was covered by the journalists of 6 media. Also, by signing the Declaration of environmental management standards of the Balkans the Mayor and his associates have confirmed the importance of environmental issues as one of Europe's priorities and support to further activities of the movement.
