A meeting was held on August 30th 2010 which was attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of Bugojno with his associates and members of the BELLS movement (NGO’s Ekoelement - Bugojno and the Centre for Environment and Energy – Tuzla). Meeting was concluded by signing Memorandum of Understanding.

28/07/2010 Lukavac officially became a member of BELLS movement and by signing of the Memo of Understanding provided support for the movement. Lukavac has so far provided support to the activities of BELLS movement, and one of the last is written support for the urgent adoption of the Law on the Protection of the environment in B&H.

Regional Bells movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania in June began with the implementation of the campaign for the signing of the Declaration for 60.000 citizens and 2.400 stakeholders.
While in Bosnia the signing of the citizens to support and strengthen regional cooperation in the Western Balkans in the environmental field is already in progress, these days began signing the Declaration of environmental management standards of living of the Balkans.
The signatories of this Declaration, councilors of the parties SDP, NSRzB, SDA, BOSS and SzaBiH from Tuzla Municipal Council, and representatives of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, are an example of environmental fighters who want to contribute to the implementation of the concept of sustainable development and environmental protection in B&H, which will affect the rapid integration of our country into the European Union, as well as improve the quality of life for our citizens.
