BELLS movement has organized the six territorialconferences, during the month of October, in orderto present the achievements of the movement in thelast 19 months, both the local and territorial level,and encourage discussion on the environment andto point main challenges that BELLS movementfaces at the local level. All six conferences have beenheld under the joint name: The EU Standards In TheEnvironmental Field.
For all local offices, this was an opportunity to gather
significant representatives of governments, NGOs
and media representatives to award them with
Honorable Environmental Ambassadors awards, for
their contribution in the field of environment. Awards
were awarded in five territories in the six areas
for significant achievements and highlighting the
importance of environmental issues in government,
NGO, and business sector, for science and education,
contribution in medias, and contribution at the
local municipality level. With 60 awards, most are
awarded for contribution in the NGO sector and
government representatives. Honorable Environmental
Ambassadors awards were not granted by the office of
BELLS Movement for Serbia.
A series of these conferences was announcing the
regional conference, which will be called Balkan Green
Deal, held on 6th and 7th December in Belgrade, the
Sava Center.
