Press Release Towards Regional Academy for leaders of sustainable development
Bells movement and the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Belgrade will organized a conference on Wednesday, 24 February starting at 14 h, in the Hotel Continental, New York hall (7B Milentija Popovića Street, New Belgrade), where achievements of the movement in the territory of the Western Balkans will be presented, together with the future Regional BELLS Academy for Leaders of Sustainable Development.

Bells movement and launching of the Regional Academy for Leaders of Sustainable Development result from the project “Regional Environmental Cohesion of the Western Balkans”, which gathers a broad coalition of governmental, non- governmental and business sectors, including representatives of the parliaments.

All activities within the Bells movement are oriented to an effective advocacy of the matter of sustainable development and environment as tools for a faster EU integration, closer regional cooperation and provision of necessary information, knowledge and skills to decision makers and other stakeholders in creation of green policies and an ambient for development of green businesses.

The conference will be addressed by: Aleksandra Knez-Milojković, Bells movement regional coordinator, Zumreta Jahić, First Secretary at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Belgrade, Ivica Radović, State Secretary of Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the parliaments of the Republic of Serbia and Republic of Macedonia.
